I have two lines right now in my mind, one is
"Saying it 100 times is better than living it once." (Olympus has Fallen)
two,
"You don't have to understand life. You just need to adapt to it." (Empire of Gold)
I really liked these lines that I decided to keep them in my Notepad while I reflect on their deeper meaning. Then now, I wanted to blog about "Bakit hindi ka Crush ng crush mo? at iba pang technique kung paano makaka-move on sa wasak na puso" (Hooo! that was long for a title.) because I just saw on TV that the book will be out on big screen. I will confess I have never watched a Filipino movie in theater for over a decade (I'm just over 2 decades alive!). Although, I am still hoping for better stories, better directing, better acting(sometimes). There's just so much good shows around the corner (Holliwood, Korean, Anime) to watch, my time to binge watch ain't enough. Philippines, better movies please! Proper character development, quality story contents! A makjang, please.
Anyway, I'm starting to read the book now which might have better justice of the story. I did read some romance pocketbooks (a little lot) during high school but I like more of classic Filipino literature (like Miliminas : Taong 0069, all time fave).
Pero bakit nga ba hindi ka crush ng crush mo!? I still don't know, let's see what Ramon has to say.
I might guess, it's because you speak and write this jejemon way? (Ang hirap basahin to ah.)
[Anyway, the sender was just saying that Ramon was inspiring, and more power to him. Tsk.]
P.S. A question to Tado's opening to the book, is having a "crush" not under Leisure in Sigmund Freud's knowledge?
Going back to the two quotes, and its better understanding,
First, saying 100 times your moving on (as Ramon might have advised and said in that book I don't know yet) is not the same as doing the moving at once, your way. Additionally, moving forward, also need a letting go.
Second, if its too hard to understand exactly how to move on, don't try. No need to understand how to move on and live. Just live and adapt to your current situation.
Zzzzzzz.. Bukas sisikat ang araw. For now, I'm going to enjoy the stintless stars.
