Whale Shark (Butanding) in the Town

Few days ago until today, Legazpi City peeps are in frenzy with the news of Butanding sighting along Albay gulf. My sister and I joined the crowd and it was a fun afternoon. More than anything the people are really excited for the Butanding that made the ordinary day to a special one. It was a great feeling of a good guest visiting a friend's home. Ignoring the strong waves, the people fearlessly peeped at the breakwater to have their good view of the free slow moving filter feeding shark. I went home still a little wet from the sudden splash of the sea waves and still with a smile on my face. When I went home, this event reminded me of the following quote: When the Last Tree Is Cut Down, the Last Fish Eaten, and the Last Stream Poisoned, You Will Realize That You Cannot Eat Money. ~  Obomsawin We were lucky that these sea creatures visited our seas although it's already polluted with the troubling floating plastic.
